It's been a month or so since Ozine Fest 2012 was held and I'm posting this blog entry for the sake of the memory. I had so much fun during Ozine Fest 2012. I went there on the first day with my best friend, Dana. To be frank, when we went home afterwards, I was completely broke. :)) I bought a LOT of stuffs. I bought magazines, CDs, and other anime-related merchandise.
Of course, like any other anime conventions I've been too, there were shops, toy displays, contests and cosplayers. But since it was the first day, there were only a few cosplayers present.
The photo above was from the Manika Manila display. I really, really love their ball-jointed dolls even though they kind of freak me out a little.
Oh yes. Let's not forget about the team Onii-chan Figure Display. Their figures are HEAVEN. Seeing their figures makes me kind of want to collect figures too... if only they weren't so expensive.
Oh look, Roy Mustang dropped by! :)
Dana totally fangirled over these characters. :)) I forgot their names though.
Kudos to this Loke/Leo cosplayer.
Behold! The cutest cosplayers of the day! Detective Conan and Harry Potter.
My first Ozine Fest experience wouldn't be complete if I did not visit the Ozine Maid Cafe! Here are my photos with Rhaine and Rocky.
Dana enjoyed herself by drawing on this I-don't-really-remember thing. :))) And behold her unfinished artwork...
I know I haven't been posting that much and you're probably tired of visiting my journal over and over again only to find out that I have nothing new in store for you. I apologize. I really am sorry. I've been so busy about things and I've been thinking hard about some other stuff and I couldn't think of anything interesting to write about.
Once I get my lazy ass to do something, I'll post a recap of my experience at the Ozine Fest 2012. And when I do, it will be a month late already so... It'll probably be irrelevant BUT for the sake of the memory, I shall still post it.
I really will try to write about more things and try I will. (That sounded redundant).
Anyway, when you guys visit my journal again, after reading this entry, you will PROBABLY see something new/ I've got some ideas in my head already, I just need to get rid of my everyday visitor, Writer's Block.
'Till next time! :)
Tokyo Bubble Tea
Food review by Czarina Marasigan
Tokyo Bubble Tea, also known as the Tokyo Milk Tea place, has been in the Philippines since 2007. Tokyo Milk Tea Corporation owners wanted to infuse the Japanese style of cuisine to their bubble milk tea drinks in the form of restaurants here in Manila. So far, Tokyo Bubble Tea has branches in SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, Wilson St. Greenhills, Tomas Morato and The Fort.
I have only eaten at their SM Megamall branch. The first thing that you will notice is the mural with bright and bubbly colors leaping right at you. The big mural has a sign that says, “I want my bubbles!” The place is very inviting and they play Japanese music to make the customers feel the ambiance of Japan while eating.
For first-timers, it is easy to navigate through the menu because it has pictures of their drinks and dishes. Their milk teas have the softest and most delicious tapioca pearls, or as they call it, bubbles. Tokyo Bubble Tea offers a wide range of flavours of milk teas, milk shakes, tea slush, black tea and green tea from hot or cold to satisfy their customers’ tastes. Japanese cuisine lovers will absolutely love their dishes which include ramen, okonomiyaki, omurice, yakiniku, donburi, sushi and many more.
Overall, Tokyo Bubble Tea is a great place to eat and hang out with friends. It may be in the expensive side, but their good service, big food servings and impeccable taste makes your money worth it. For more information about their food and branches, you can visit their Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/tokyobubbletea.I originally wrote this food review for the second issue of The Ambassador, the Lasallian Ambassadors' magazine. I really, really love this restaurant. :) I decided not to include the photos in my original article because LJ is making it hard for me to edit. :( Oh well. Let me defend myself by saying that I have never written a food review before this one.
